Cherry Turbos is a high quality turbo re-manufacturing facility with over 25 years of experience and a history of personal contact with each customer. I've personally built over 3500 turbos in that time.

A stock original equipment turbo is often sufficient and will provide enough boost to satisfy a driver's expectations. For many enthusiasts however the quest for more power is normal. The good news is that most turbocharged vehicles have room for improvement. Upgrading a stock turbocharger can make a great deal of difference without huge physical changes under the hood.
Our focus has always been singular quality. Every unit is assembled and balanced by Herman. Each turbo goes through an inspection procedure. Disassembly is carefully done as well. This ensures that the cause of failure is discovered. This information is passed on to the customer adding to the value of having us take care of your turbo.
In 1990 I started work for the original owner of Cherry Turbos. I immediately understood that turbos could be modified. The large variety of components all in one facility got my imagination going. I saw that mixing and machining could combine the best parts of different turbo manufacturers efforts. When I bought the business in 1992 I started experimenting.
The agricultural turbo sector has always been a staple in our customer base.
Some of our oldest clients are involved in the agricultural sector. I've helped industrial and marine turbo customers out of some tight spots over the years as well. When it gets weird, I can help. Sourcing bits and pieces to get a successful outcome is part of the job here.
Turbos are only simple to those who know how they work and interact with an engine. I pride myself on helping our customers understand as much as possible about their turbo problem and hopefully help the customer spend only what they need to.
Two facts about turbos that I believe you need to know are that a turbo is an exhaust gas driven air compressor and turbos require clean pressurized oil as soon as the engine is running
